GENERAL

Biography

Élder Jesús Villamizar Roa is a full professor at the Mathematics School at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), Bucaramanga, Colombia. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UIS, as well as Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, Brazil. His research interests include Partial Differential Equations, Numerical Analysis of PDEs, Control Theory, and Fuzzy Analysis. He is the author of over 60 scientific articles in these areas of expertise and a coauthor of the books “General Topology” and “Introduction to Fuzzy Differential Equations.” He has advised over 30 thesis projects at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
