GENERAL
Biography
Geologist with 30 years of experience in different areas of application of geological knowledge. PhD candidate in Earth and Universe Sciences. MSc. in Geophysics. Thirteen years as a teacher at Universidad Industrial de Santander, where he has been director of the School of Geology, as well as coordinator of the Masters of Geology and Geophysics, respectively. He has also been editor of the Journal Bulletin of Geology, representative of the professors before the Council of the Faculty of physicochemical engineering and member of the Editorial Committee of the UIS.

Previous teaching experience includes areas of performance as an official of the Servicio Geológico Colombiano (Colombian Geological Service), advisor to companies dedicated to environmental impact studies and environmental and geotechnical management plans and as a geophysics advisor for the application of different techniques in the prospection of subsoil resources. He also served a secondment to attend an appointment as Knowledge Management Manager at the National Hydrocarbons Agency.
As a psychologist he has specialized in the management of human resources, especially in the search for the use of human talent to achieve institutional objectives. As a Master in clinical neuropsychology, she has focused her efforts in the area of neuroeducation, studying the way in which cognitive processes can be enhanced to improve learning and the effective application of theoretical knowledge in being, knowing how to be and knowing how to do.
