Biography
Gabriel Eduardo Perez Garcia is a medical pathologist with 25 years of experience. For 10 years (1997-2007), he served as the coordinator of the pathology department at Clínica Los Comuneros and has also worked in several pathology laboratories in the city. Additionally, he works as a pathologist in charge of quality control for cervical cytology at the Santander League for the Fight against Cancer.
Read moreAs a professor, he actively participates in the career of Medicine at both Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (UNAB). At these institutions, he plays the role of training students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and he was an essential part of the group of professionals who achieved the High Quality Accreditation for the specialization in pathology at UIS. For the past 8 years, he has coordinated the postgraduate program in this area.
Furthermore, Dr. Perez Garcia keeps himself updated by participating in congresses and continuing education events. He is a member of the Colombian Association of Pathology. Currently, he combines his professorial activities with private practice in a laboratory in the city.
