GENERAL
Biography
Professor Heller G. Sánchez A., is a Mechanical Engineer, Specialist in University Teaching and PhD in Applied and Computational Mechanical Engineering. He has been Director of Research and Extension of the Faculty of Physicomechanical Engineering and currently, being a professor of the UIS, he holds the position of Coordinator of graduate programs self-financed by the EIM.
His research experience is focused on the area of mechanical vibrations and rotodynamics, demonstrated through his publications in the area. In this way, the professor is in charge of guiding the subject of mechanical vibrations in the undergraduate and postgraduate programs of the EIM (specializations, masters and PhD).
He has also been involved in the study of the use of composite materials and metamaterials for vibration isolation and for the design of elements for power transmission using these new materials. He has been director of both research projects and extension projects for the industry in his area of expertise.
