GENERAL
Biography
Professor Ricardo Alfonso Jaimes Rolón was linked to the Agricultural Mechanization Center of Bucaramanga as a Design Engineer. This Center arose from a technology transfer agreement between Italy and Colombia to promote sustainable and environmentally friendly agricultural mechanization in most areas of the region and the country. Through the international agreement, he was sent to visit high-tech Italian factories to observe and then transfer engineering aspects for the development of agricultural machinery in their context.
His hobby is the design, construction and piloting of various types of model airplanes, especially gliders and motor gliders, in which he applies knowledge of aeronautical engineering and control. This has served to collaborate in the aerospace seedbed and the challenges of UIS Ingenium.
