GENERAL

Biography

A full-time professor affiliated with the Bachelor of Music program at the School of Arts since 2012, he has led and developed numerous projects aimed at promoting musical development in the region. Among his initiatives, he directed the UIS Trombone Week, celebrating its eighth edition in 2023. He also served as Director of the School of Arts from 2020 to 2023.

His teaching and research focus on trombone instruction and the creation of new musical repertoire through research in Artistic Creation. He has participated in mobility programs in Brazil, Argentina, Spain, France, and the United States, presenting outcomes from various teaching, research, and outreach projects.

He is a member of the A Tempo UIS research group and is affiliated with both the International Trombone Association and the International Association for Music and Medicine networks.
