GENERAL
Biography
Professor Álvaro Acevedo Tarazona is a Senior Researcher (Minciencias). He has served as a member of the Evaluation Committees of CONACES, coordinator of the Evaluation Committee for Humanities and Social Sciences, and advisor to the National Council for Accreditation of Colombia. Furthermore, he holds the esteemed position of being a Full Member of the Academy of History of Santander and a Corresponding Member of the Colombian Academy of History. In addition to his impressive academic contributions, Professor Álvaro Acevedo Tarazona is an accomplished author, having written books and articles on the subjects of History of Education, Social and Cultural History, and Regional History.
