GENERAL
Biography
Professor Arturo Plata Gómez has a robust academic background, holding a Ph.D. in Engineering with a specialization in Optics from the Université de Franche-Comté, a master’s degree in physics from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, and a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Universidad de La Amistad de Los Pueblos Patricio Lumumba.
In terms of his research involvement, he is a member of the Optics and Signal Processing Group (GOTS). His research interests encompass nanometrology of materials and hybrid signal processing.
