Biography
Professor Carlos Enrique Uzcategui Aylwin is a distinguished academic affiliated with the School of Mathematics at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS).
His extensive academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics obtained from the California Institute of Technology in 1990. Complementing his education, he holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the Venezuelan Institute for Scientific Research (Venezuela) in 1985, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Los Andes (Venezuela) in 1983.
Professor Uzcategui Aylwin is an expert in essential areas such as Mathematical Logic and Descriptive Set Theory, enriching the mathematical foundation at UIS.
