GENERAL

Biography

Professor Adriana Gonzalez worked in the Emergency and Delivery Room departments of HUS for many years. However, for the past 4 years, she has been serving as a professor specializing in Simulation. In addition to her academic role, she collaborates with the Health Service of UIS, UISALUD, and maintains a private practice. Furthermore, she is an active member of the Childhood and Adolescence committee within the Colombian Federation of Obstetrics and Gynecology, FECOLSOG.

She derives immense satisfaction from her position as a professor at UIS, where she lends support to students in nurturing their skills. This encompasses the continual development of both cognitive and technical abilities, as well as the essential human skills like communication, interpersonal relationships, teamwork, leadership, and respect. In every teaching interaction, she consistently underscores the significance of ethics, humanism, equity, consideration in medical practice, and a commitment to research.

Her overarching goal is to contribute, within her specialized field, to the cultivation of well-rounded and proficient physicians. She embraces the challenge of guiding the next generation towards excellence.
