GENERAL
Biography
Professor linked since 2010 to Universidad Industrial de Santander in the School of Medicine, Department of Public Health to support undergraduate and postgraduate subjects related to Biostatistics, research methodology and Population Demography.
Director of the Department of Public Health from October 2021 to December 2023. She created the Research Seedbed in Public Health, Education, Medicine and Microbiology -SISPEM- in 2014 until now, training students in research and having their participation as speakers in various Congresses in different countries.

The professor has coordinated various extension projects, mainly with the Secretary of Health of the Department of Santander, an important result of this work has been the construction of the website of this entity, with a wide and specialized repository of health content, virtual courses in this field, with the participation of numerous teachers from the schools of the Faculty of Health and other invited experts; in addition to technological tools that serve as resources for education, data collection and analysis for the institution, the community in general, students and health professionals.
Her interdisciplinary work has allowed her to contribute with data analysis in the academic vice-chancellor’s office, accompany degree projects in the schools of economics, industrial engineering and education.
