GENERAL

Biography

University professor, passionate about learning, teaching, and inspiring the study of metallurgy. For several years, he was involved in teaching on a part-time basis, and in 2024, he became a full-time professor. He is an active member of the Research Group on Development and Technology of New Materials (GIMAT) and the Corrosion Research Group (GIC). Some of the outcomes of his research have been published in scientific journals or presented at international conferences.

Throughout his teaching career, he has supervised metallurgical engineering students’ degree projects in the form of theses and industrial internships. He has also served as a tutor for a master’s thesis in Materials Engineering, a member of evaluation committees for degree projects, and has acted as a research assistant during certain periods. He completed a research stay at the ITEAM of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, focusing on the generation and capture of ultrasonic guided waves, and participated in the Third International Course on Non-Destructive Testing at CIDESI-Mexico.
