GENERAL
Biography
Professor. PhD with International Mention from the Universitat Rovira I Virgili and the Universitat de Barcelona in Spain. Researcher recognized by MINCIENCIAS. Creator of AMACOMPRI “Maternal Support to Become a Mother in First-Time Mothers” with copyrighted educational materials. Her work has focused especially on the care of mothers in the postpartum period. She has published several articles in national and international journals and has also given several national and international presentations.
She is a member of the GRINFER Research Group. Nursing Research Work Award, Ibero-American Society of Neonatology, 2013. Best Scientific Work in Nursing, Ibero-American Society of Neonatology, 2014. First Place Oral Modality, III International Congress of Nursing Process and Standardized Language, 2017. Florence Nightingale Award, UNAL, 2017. Best Health Promotion Paper Award, III International Meeting of Health Sciences and I International Congress of Life, Health and Wellness Research, 2022. Member of the Nursing Honor Society – UpsilonNu Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International. Member of the Latin American Network of Nursing Counseling in the Sexual and Reproductive Health of the Adolescent Group (RELACESSRGA). Member of the OEC.
