GENERAL
Biography
Professor Laverde is a highly accomplished tenured professor, boasting an impressive 30-year career in both research and administrative roles. He has held various esteemed positions, including Director of the National Research Program in Energy and Mining at the Ministerio de Ciencia Tecnología e Innovación, as well as Vice Rector of Research and Dean. Furthermore, Professor Laverde has excelled as a project manager, collaborating with industry leaders in the mining and energy sectors, such as Ecopetrol and Minminas. Additionally, he brings his expertise to the evaluation of academic programs as a peer evaluator, further contributing to the advancement and quality assurance of educational institutions.
