Geologist with extensive experience in applied science and scientific science in multistratigraphic topics related to micropaleontology (calcareous plankton), sediment geochemistry (stable isotopes, trace elements, AMS-14C radiogenic isotopes, and biomarkers), optical and scanning electron microscopy, environmental geology and well seismic at various spatial and temporal scales (Mesozoic, Cenozoic and Quaternary).

It uses marine and continental sediments for biostratigraphic, chronostratigraphic, paleoceanographic, paleoclimatic, paleogeographical, geopatrimonial and hydrocarbon exploration purposes. Additionally, he has extensive undergraduate and postgraduate teaching experience in Geology, Physics, Biology and Engineering in Colombia, Spain, France and Portugal.
