Biography
Giohanny Olave Arias is a professor in the School of Languages at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and has been a member of the Research Group on Language, Linguistics, and Literature Didactics (GLOTTA) at the Faculty of Humanities at UIS.
His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Linguistics from the Universidad de Buenos Aires, completed in 2017. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Education from the Universidad Nacional de La Plata in 2015, a Master’s degree in Linguistics from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira in 2011, and a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish and Literature from the same university in 2007.
Professor Olave Arias specializes in Discourse Analysis and Linguistic Education, areas in which he contributes to teaching and research at the School of Languages at UIS.
