Director, composer, and music educator, he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the Universidad Industrial de Santander and a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He is currently a full-time faculty member in the Bachelor’s in Music Education program at the Universidad Industrial de Santander.

In recent years, he has carried out significant work as a conductor, composer, cultural manager, and arts administrator, leading projects in both public and private institutions across various regions of Colombia. He has served as principal conductor of several symphonic ensembles in Colombia and, internationally, has been invited to conduct in Spain, Brazil, and Peru.
