GENERAL

Biography

Researcher in the area of Mathematics Education, with experience in the lines of Mathematics Teacher Specialized Knowledge Model (MTSK), Inclusion in Mathematics Education, STEM Education, Visualization Skills, Situated Learning and Communities of Practice. She has guided the STEAM+H Research Incubator of the Athena Educational Research group of the School of Education since its creation in 2021. In addition, she is the coordinator for Colombia of the MTSK Network, and leads interdisciplinary research with national and international researchers. She has experience in teacher training (initial and continuous) in educational settings in Chile, Greece, Brazil and Colombia. And she has supervised undergraduate, master’s and doctoral theses in the area of mathematics and STEM education. In addition to recognitions for research and innovation in the area of inclusive mathematics education.
