GENERAL
Biography
Jorge Enrique Meneses Flórez is an outstanding academic professional from Universidad Industrial de Santander, with a solid background that includes a Mechanical Engineering degree from the same university in 1984, complemented with a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad de Guanajuato in 1986.
As an active member of the Connectivity and Signal Processing Research Group (CPS), Professor Meneses Flórez specializes in several research areas. His interests include the application of artificial intelligence in automatic process control, industrial automation based on PLCs and DCS, as well as computer numerical control in flexible manufacturing systems. In addition, his expertise covers project monitoring and control, project management based on both Microsoft Project and Primavera.
