GENERAL
Biography
Professor José David Sanabria Gómez plays the role of coordinator of the Master in Geophysics, taught by the School of Physics of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS). His extensive academic background includes a PhD in Physics and a Master’s degree in Physics, both obtained at the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the IPN. He also holds a B.Sc. degree in Mathematics and Physics from the Universidad del Tolima.
As part of his active contribution to research, Professor Sanabria Gómez is a member of the Relativity and Gravitation Research Group (GIRG). His lines of research cover several areas, such as Astroparticles, Seismology, Exact Solutions of the Einstein-Maxwell equations and Gravitational Collapse.
