Biography
Juan Carlos Otero Pinto is a leading specialist in Maternal Fetal Medicine and Obstetrics and Gynecology. He has extensive experience in institutions such as the Hospital Universitario de Santander, San Luis Clinic and the International Center of Specialist (CIE), where he currently offers consultation. He is an expert in Amniocentesis, Chorionic Villus Biopsy, Third Level Ultrasound or Anatomical Detail, Genetic Screening 11 to 14 weeks, High Risk Pregnancy Consultation, Perinatology, Fetal Doppler, Fetal Ultrasound and Ultrasound 3D – 4D-5D.
He graduated as a Medical Doctor from the Juan N. Corpas School of Medicine, later he completed the specialties in Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Gynecology and Obstetrics, both endorsed by the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR). She has also perfected in Fetal ECOCARDIOGRAPHY, 3D Ultrasound, Fetal Ultrasound, Doppler and Chorionic Villus Biopsy at Karolinka Hospital in Sweden. He has participated in congresses and refresher courses on his specialty and collaborated in articles and books.
