GENERAL
Biography
Professor Pedraza is a highly esteemed tenured Professor at the School of Chemical Engineering, holding the distinguished title of Senior Researcher at the Ministerio de Ciencia Tecnología e Innovación. In addition to his academic and research positions, he serves as the Director of the Research Group on Minerals, Biohydrometallurgy, and Environment (GIMBA), as well as the Laboratory of Chemical, Mining-Metallurgical, and Environmental Services. Throughout his career, Professor Pedraza has played a pivotal role as the director or co-director of over 90 research projects spanning undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Furthermore, his expertise and dedication have led him to participate as a principal investigator or co-investigator in more than 25 funded projects, further solidifying his reputation as an accomplished researcher and contributor to the scientific community.
