She is currently an associate professor at Universidad Industrial  de Santander. He is an accredited counselor in the Graduate Program in Adult Health Nursing at the USP School of Nursing. She is a member of the Research Group Science of Biological Materials and Semiconductors (CIMBIOS), of the Universidad Industrial de Santander and Studies in Nursing Diagnosis, Interventions and Results (DIREnf) of the School of Nursing of USP. She is registered in the CNPq and is an associate member of the Research Network in Nursing Process – RePPe of Brazil. She has experience in the field of Nursing, with an emphasis on Nursing in Adult and Elderly Health, and works mainly on the following topics: family caregivers, nursing concepts and classifications, nursing process, evidence-based health care and Rasch analysis.
