GENERAL
Biography
Manuel del Jesús Martínez is an experienced professor and researcher at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. He has an extensive academic background that includes a PhD in Philosophy and a Master in Philosophy from the University of Wales, as well as a Master in Advanced Studies in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from the Universidad Central de Venezuela and a degree in Mechanical Engineering, obtained at the same institution.
Martinez is an active member of the Energy and Environment Research Group (GIEMA), where he focuses on several lines of research such as fluid dynamics, numerical methods, mathematical theory of elasticity, computational fracture mechanics, equipment design and continuum mechanics.
