Biography
Research professor on the history of indigenous peoples at the local level and in comparative perspective. Her work has focused on the analysis of the processes of disentailment of reservation lands in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in different indigenous groups and their relationship with the processes of ethnic reconstitution through religious corporations such as brotherhoods. She is the director of the Pensamiento Decolonial research group, where ethnohistory is approached to understand and explain the history of indigenous peoples from their own worldviews. She also has experience in the area of history teaching.
