Biography
Professor Michael Alexander Rincón Villamizar, a member of the School of Mathematics at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), has served as the director of the Mathematics Research Group (GIM), showcasing his commitment to research at the university.
His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Mathematics obtained from the Universidade de São Paulo in 2016. He also holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from the same institution in 2012, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UIS in 2010.
Professor Rincón Villamizar specializes in Banach Space Theory and Topology, both essential disciplines in mathematics. His work and leadership within GIM highlight his significant contribution to the academic community and the advancement of mathematical knowledge.
