GENERAL

Biography

She worked in the Environmental Affairs Coordination at the Colombian Petroleum Institute (ICP) from April 2001 to November 2002. She has been the editor of the journal Fuentes: El Reventón Energético (ISSN 1657-6527) during two periods: from January 2007 to August 2014 and, currently, since February 2025. She is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and served as Chairperson of the Northeast Section of this association from May 2019 to August 2021. She has acted as a peer reviewer for high-impact scientific journals such as the Journal of Natural Gas Science and Engineering, Energy & Fuels, Fuel, Journal of Chemical and Engineering Data, Boletín de Geología, and Fuentes: El Reventón Energético.

She is affiliated with the Hydrocarbon Process Modeling and Computed Tomography for Reservoir Characterization research groups.

From October 2022 to May 2024, she coordinated the graduate programs in the School of Petroleum Engineering. Currently, she serves as the Director of Graduate Studies at Universidad Industrial de Santander.
