GENERAL
Biography
Professor Óscar Vargas works in the area of energy storage materials from their synthesis, characterization and recycling, specifically for lithium, ion and supercapacitor batteries. Additionally, he works in the reinforcement of polymers with carbonaceous materials, including biopolymers for biomedical applications. Oscar is a native of Valle del Cauca, likes to travel, walk, read, watch series and talk about politics, although he is not an expert in any of them. He has been linked since 2018 to the UIS.
