GENERAL
Biography
Professor and Researcher at the Finance and Management group of the School of Industrial and Business Studies, specializing in the areas of Productivity, Improvement of Industrial Systems and Organizations, Occupational Health and Safety, and Applications of Machine Learning in Manufacturing and Service Operations. Holds a Ph.D. in Engineering in Industry and Organizations from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, with a doctoral stay at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia in the research group of Estadística e Investigación Operativa Aplicadas y Calidad. Also holds a Master’s degree in Occupational Health from the Universidad Libre. He worked for 12 years at the Universidad Javeriana de Cali in the Industrial Engineering program and spent 7 years in the pharmaceutical industry in the Valle del Cauca region, focusing on operations management and inventory control processes.
