Professor Rogelio Ospina Ospina has an extensive academic background, including a PhD in Engineering, Materials Science and Technology from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Medellin, a Master’s degree in Physics and an undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics, both obtained at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Manizales.

As a member of two research groups, Biological and Semiconductor Materials Science (CIMBIOS) and the Center for Catalysis Research (CICAT), Professor Ospina Ospina actively contributes to the advancement of knowledge in several areas. His lines of research include biomaterials, nanocomposites, nanoparticles and hard coatings, reflecting his dedication to the study and development of advanced materials with applications in diverse fields.
