Professor Yesid Javier Rueda Ordoñez is an academic from Universidad Industrial de Santander with a solid academic background. He obtained his Mechanical Engineering degree from Universidad Industrial de Santander, followed by a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Subsequently, he completed his PhD in Chemical Engineering at the same institution.

In his academic work, Professor Rueda Ordoñez contributes as a member of the Energy and Environment Research Group (GIEMA), where he focuses on several research areas. His lines of research include fruit and waste drying, pyrolysis of fuels and solid wastes, kinetics of solid state reactions, biomass combustion and biomass gasification.
