GENERAL
Biography
She has participated in the publication of more than 50 technical articles, presented and published in events and magazines of recognized national and international prestige, many of them on reservoir and applied geomechanics. Author of books published by Ediciones UIS: Introducción a la mecánica de rocas y sus aplicaciones en la industria del petróleo and Orientaciones prácticas para la elaboración exitosa de trabajos de grado en ingeniería (Introduction to rock mechanics and its applications in the petroleum industry and Practical guidelines for the successful elaboration of engineering degree projects). Co-author of chapter 7: Petróleo y sus derivados en Colombia 2050 (Petroleum and its derivatives in Colombia 2050) of the book Prospectiva Energética, Colombia 2050 (Energy Prospective, Colombia 2050).

Received recognition as the most outstanding petroleum engineer in the country, as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the oil industry in Colombia. XVII Colombian Oil and Gas Congress, Bogota, October 2017.
She has held management positions at the Universidad Industrial de Santander, as Dean of the School of Physicochemical Engineering, Director of the School of Petroleum Engineering, Coordinator of the specialization in Hydrocarbon Management and Director of the first Master’s Degree in Hydrocarbon Engineering in the country.
