GENERAL

Biography

Associate Professor, Senior Researcher and peer reviewer of Minciencias. He has experience in the development of research in environmental and industrial biotechnology, mainly in the use of molecular genetic tools and omic sciences to study the diversity and function of microorganisms in different ecosystems, the mechanisms of degradation of environmental pollutants, the study of adaptive capacities and response of microorganisms in natural, polluted and industrial environments and in the study of the potential of microorganisms to produce goods and services. He participates as a professor and directs theses at the undergraduate, master’s and doctoral levels.
