GENERAL

Biography

Professor Hoover Fabián Rueda Chacón graduated as a Systems Engineer and earned a Master’s degree in Systems Engineering and Informatics from the Universidad Industrial de Santander, Bucaramanga, Colombia, in 2009 and 2012, respectively. He later received Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Delaware, Newark, USA, in 2015 and 2017, sponsored by Fulbright-Colciencias. From 2021 to 2022, he served as a Postdoctoral Associate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Boston University, USA. His primary research areas include image processing, algorithms, computational optics, and numerical optimization.
