GENERAL
Biography
Professor Jorge Hernández Torres completed his master’s and doctoral degrees at the Université de Neuchâtel (Switzerland). He has actively participated in conferences in Colombia and at universities across Europe. He is the author of 20 publications in internationally recognized journals in the fields of microbiology, molecular biology, and bioinformatics. Additionally, he has successfully led 15 internally and externally funded research projects. With 28 years of teaching experience as a tenured professor, he has been serving as the director of CINBIN since March 2002. Moreover, Professor Hernández Torres has supervised 48 undergraduate and graduate theses.
