GENERAL
Biography
Professor Julián Ernesto Jaramillo Ibarra is an expert in numerical simulation and experimental verification of heat and mass transfer phenomena in turbulent flows. His focus is on developing CFD codes to simulate turbulent flows using RANS and LES models based on the finite volume technique. Additionally, he is engaged in the design and optimization of thermal equipment through numerical simulations. His research areas also encompass analytical and experimental studies of energy efficiency systems in buildings.
Professor Jaramillo actively participates in collaborative projects with companies in the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. Moreover, he has contributed to research projects funded by both private and public entities, at both national and international levels.
