GENERAL
Biography
Medical pathologist with 20 years of experience in the practice of medicine and university teaching for undergraduate students of the Medicine and Microbiology programs and postgraduate Medicine with awareness of student-based education.
He has extensive administrative experience having held the positions of coordination of the specialization program in Pathology, Deputy Manager of Diagnostic Support Services of the ESE HUS, Director of the Department of Pathology and currently, time in which he has developed technologically and academically the areas under his charge; currently the Director of the School of Medicine with important challenges such as the process of reaccreditation of high quality of the program of Medicine, curricular reform of the same and medical-surgical graduate programs as well as the creation of others.

In research, he has worked in interdisciplinary groups in favor of biomedical engineering for the benefit of patients and medical professionals. He fulfills his academic and administrative work with great dedication and devotion, according to the institutional mission and the social contribution he makes to the region.
