GENERAL
Biography
Professor Oscar Arnulfo Quiroga Quiroga holds a Ph.D. in Technology and a Master’s degree in Industrial and Automatic Informatics from Universidad de Girona (Spain). He is also an Electrical Engineer from Universidad Industrial de Santander (2004).
A faculty member at UIS since 2014, he is affiliated with the School of Electrical, Electronic, and Telecommunications Engineering, with a primary focus on Electrical Engineering. In this role, he engages in teaching, research, extension activities, and program administration.
His research interests encompass electric mobility, electrical systems design, analysis of failures in electrical systems, and electrical energy quality. With industry experience in the construction of final-use electrical installations, works oversight, electrical maintenance, and contract planning in the oil & gas sector.
