GENERAL
Biography
Associate Professor at the School of Law and Political Science at UIS. Author of two books related to the subjects she teaches, as well as scientific articles published in indexed journals. She is affiliated with the Research Group in Law and Political Science in the line of Constitutionalization of Private Law. Among her areas of interest are: the legal nature of just title as an element of ordinary prescription; the interversion of the title from holder to possessor; the recognition of the legal personality of human beings; the legal regime of persons with cognitive limitations and dignified death.
Her Master’s degree in History has enabled her to participate in interdisciplinary research groups (law, literature, and history) on the liberal principles of the 19th century in Colombia, rescued from the literary production of two famous writers of the time: Soledad Acosta de Samper and Josefa Acevedo de Gómez; UIS has edited the academic products of such deepening.
