GENERAL
Biography
Professor Sergio Andrés Pérez León holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from UIS (Universidad Industrial de Santander). In 2009, he earned a bronze medal in the Ibero-American Interuniversity Mathematics Competition. In 2010, he received the Cum Laude Diploma. In 2013, he completed his Master’s degree in Mathematics at UIS, and in 2017, he successfully finished his Ph.D. in Mathematics at the Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Currently, he serves as an Assistant Professor in the School of Mathematics at UIS.
Among the courses he has taught at the universities where he has worked are: Differential Calculus, Integral Calculus, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Special Mathematics, Number Theory, Set Theory, Foundations of Mathematics, Complex Analysis, and Linear Algebra I.
