GENERAL
Biography
Professor Jabid Eduardo Quiroga Méndez specializes in using data to implement monitoring and structural health systems in equipment. He employs various techniques such as neural networks, support vector machines, PCA, and PSO. Additionally, his focus lies in optimizing tasks or systems using metaheuristics. His research primarily revolves around the analysis of guided waves using the Finite Element Method (FEM) and the Semi-Analytic Finite Element (SAFE) method. Furthermore, he places significant emphasis on the identification of dynamic systems from data, a field known as “Model Discovery.”
