GENERAL
Biography
Juan Carlos López Ríos is a faculty member in the School of Mathematics at Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS), with a strong background and experience in mathematics.
He holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences with a specialization in Mathematical Modeling from Universidad de Chile (2015), as well as a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2010) and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the same university (2006).
His expertise is focused on fundamental areas such as Partial Differential Equations (PDEs), and he is distinguished for his emphasis on Inverse Problems and Controllability in PDEs.
