Professor and researcher with training in statistics and physiology applied to sport. His academic and research career has developed in the field of physical activity, sport, and health, with an emphasis on physical performance assessment, exercise prescription, and the analysis of physiological, neuromuscular, and functional responses to exercise across diverse populations.

His research experience includes the study of responses to physical activity in school settings, the assessment of performance and physical fitness in athletes, and aging research from the perspectives of exercise physiology and molecular biology, using both animal models and human populations. His teaching and research work is oriented toward comprehensive education and the generation of applied knowledge, promoting a critical, evidence-based understanding of physical exercise. He also actively participates as an external reviewer for international academic publishers such as Springer Nature, MDPI, and Elsevier.
