GENERAL
Biography
She has served as a researcher, with extensive experience in the study and analysis of peace theories, conflicts, violence, human rights, public policies, women in peacebuilding, the ethics of care, peacebuilding, and humanitarian issues. She is a member of the PROMETEO Research Group.
Within her academic and administrative career, she has been a member of the institutional peace commission, the gender equity policy committee, the Faculty of Human Sciences representative in the ELCTIC ICT Leader Group, director of the School of Social Work, and president and vice president of the National Council for Education in Social Work.
Her teaching career has focused on research at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels, while also teaching courses such as Gender, Human Rights, Systematization, Conflict Victims, and Professional Ethics in the undergraduate Social Work program.
In the Supercomputing and Scientific Computing Laboratory, she coordinates the Digital Humanities line. She is a member of the Colombian Network of Digital Humanities. She leads the Laboratory of Visualization and Immersive Experiences of the School of Social Work.
