GENERAL
Biography
Physicist from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2007), with a master’s degree (2009) and a PhD (2013) in Physics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). He completed a six-month doctoral stay at the University of Warwick (UK) (2011–2012). He carried out a postdoctoral fellowship at the School of Applied Sciences of UNICAMP (2013–2017), which included a one-year postdoctoral stay at the University of Central Florida (UCF, USA) (2015–2016) in the area of Computational Physics. Since 2018, he has been serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at Universidad Industrial de Santander (Colombia). His research experience focuses on condensed matter physics, with an emphasis on the quantum Hall effect, the electronic properties of graphene, disordered systems, and low-dimensional systems.
