Social Worker, Master in Human Rights, and PhD in History. Her professional career has been developed in research and university teaching, with a strong focus on the design, implementation, and evaluation of public policies, territorial planning, and the promotion of intersectoral processes with a gender and human rights perspective.

Her work focuses on the study of the Colombian armed conflict, historical memory, social resistance, and the recognition of victims, with special emphasis on women. She has supported research and social outreach initiatives that contribute to strengthening the differential approach in peacebuilding scenarios. Currently, she serves as a research professor at the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) and participates in training, research, and action processes alongside social organizations defending human rights in the region.
