GENERAL

Biography

Associate Professor at the Universidad Industrial de Santander. Electrical Engineer (2008), Master of Science in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on High Voltage (2011), and Ph.D. in Engineering (2015). Expert in lightning effects on power networks, electromagnetic fields, induced voltages, and insulation coordination. He has taught courses in circuits, electromagnetic theory, transmission lines, power systems, and electromagnetic transients. Author of more than 20 articles in indexed journals and 10 papers in international conferences. He has led consulting projects on transmission and distribution system simulation using ATP, aimed at improving the quality of electrical service.
