General

Description

He holds a degree in Mathematics, as well as a Master’s and Ph.D. in Sciences–Mathematics from the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. He was awarded a Fulbright scholarship for a doctoral research stay (2021–2022) at Rice University (USA) and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Universidad de los Andes (2023–2025). He has organized seminars on algebra and geometry and has experience in data science. Since 2025, he has been a professor at the School of Mathematics of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS). His research interests include Hopf algebras, tensor categories, and noncommutative algebra.
