General
Description
He earned a Ph.D. in Engineering–Automation from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2012. He completed research internships at Universidad de São Paulo (São Carlos Campus) and at the LORIA Research Institute in France (Nancy-Lorraine). His research interests focus on applying artificial intelligence—particularly statistical inference and probabilistic modeling—to fields such as speech processing, agronomy, and materials science. Beyond prediction, he is driven by a desire to understand the underlying structures within data.
