GENERAL
Biography
Professor Guillermo Alfonso González Villegas has an outstanding academic background, including a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, an M.Sc. in Physics, and a B.Sc. in Physics, both from the Universidad del Valle.
As Director of the Relativity and Gravitation Research Group (GIRG), Professor González Villegas plays a crucial role in research in his field. His research interests include mathematical physics, the study of disk models in general relativity, the study of exact solutions of Einstein’s equations, and galaxy dynamics.
